Marije Bosch studied physical therapy (1999) and health sciences (2001). After she graduated she worked at a large research funding organisation for a year and a half as an implementation-assistant.

Prof. Richard Grol is director of the Centre for Quality of Care Research (WOK), a centre linked to the universities of Nijmegen en Maastricht in the Netherlands, aiming at research and development in the field of quality improvement, evidence based practice and guidelines, quality assessment and indicators, etc.

Dr. Trudy van der Weijden received her medical degree in 1989. She is registered as Scientific researcher in Epidemiology (2000). From 1998 she is working as a senior researcher at the department of General Practice / Centre for Quality of Care Research at Maastricht University.

Michel Wensing is senior lecturer and co-ordinator of research on quality of primary care in the Centre for Quality of Care Research (WOK). Primary care is one of the three sections of the centre, which is a collaboration of the Universities of Nijmegen and Maastricht (www.wokresearch.nl). After initial training as medical sociologist and research methodologist, and Ph.D. in 1997, he developed his main focus in quality improvement and implementation of evidence in patient care.
